Ironic coach Shin Tae-yong, Indonesian expert attacked by fans

CNN Indonesia reports that football expert Tommy Welly has called the police after he felt his family’s safety was threatened by a number of Indonesian fans. They passed around personal data of Tommy and his children. In addition, many COD (cash on delivery) packages appeared at Tommy’s home.

Mr. Tommy sadly said: " There are so many COD packages being sent. It really disturbs the peace of my family. There are so many packages being delivered to my house that I never ordered. I hope the orders will not be received because the shipping party feels sorry to have to deliver the goods ."

This football expert is known for his many offensive statements towards coach Shin Tae-yong over the past year. Mr. Tommy continuously questioned coach Shin Tae-yong and blamed why the Korean coach has not been... fired. But, according to Indonesian fans, it was Tommy posting a video of coach Shin Tae-yong advertising fried chicken that caused the outrage.

Tommy Welly was heavily criticized for his "sarcastic" status about coach Shin Tae-yong. He posted on his personal page with the status: " He is suitable for selling goods ".

On January 6, the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) fired coach Shin Tae-yong just one day after the AFF Cup 2024 ended.
