(Dan Tri) - According to forecasts, in the coming days, the Northern and North Central regions will maintain cold weather at night and early morning, with sunny weather in the afternoon. In particular, the mountainous regions of the North will have some places with severe cold.

The Northern Delta and Midland Hydrometeorological Station forecasts that on the morning of March 19, Hanoi and many places in the North will have cold weather, light rain in some places, and sunny weather in the afternoon and evening.

Due to the influence of cold air, the mountainous areas of the North will experience severe cold in the coming days. The lowest temperature during this cold air mass in the North and North Central regions will generally be 13-16 degrees Celsius, while in the high mountainous areas of the North, it will be below 10 degrees Celsius, according to the meteorological and hydrological agency.

According to forecasts, the above weather conditions in the North and North Central regions will last until March 24. After this time, the humid weather will return to the North, while the Northwestern region will experience hot weather from March 25.

The meteorological agency also said that in April, cold air will operate with decreasing intensity and frequency, increasing dangerous weather phenomena such as thunderstorms, tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
