Weather on October 1: Heavy rain continues in the North, floods on many rivers rise

The recorded rainfall in some places exceeded 80mm, such as Ho Thau 1 station (Tuyen Quang), Chieng Noi station (Son La), Giao An station (Thanh Hoa), Tam Hop 2 station (Nghe An). Heavy rain continues in the North

According to forecasts, from October 6 to 8, the North and North Central regions are likely to experience widespread heavy rain. In the next 12-24 hours, floods in the downstream of Ca River will be below alert level 2, Lo River will reach alert level 3; Cau River, Thuong River and Thai Binh River will continue to exceed alert level 3.

From October 1 to October 2, floods on Lo River (Tuyen Quang), Cau River, Thuong River (Bac Ninh), Thai Binh River (Hai Phong) continued to rise; the downstream of La River (Ha Tinh) fluctuated at approximately alert level 2. Flooding has been occurring in low-lying areas along rivers and urban areas in the North, from Thanh Hoa to Ha Tinh and Dong Nai.
