From October 10 to 12, 2025, the first "World Cultural Festival in Hanoi " will take place at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel Heritage Center - a UNESCO-recognized World Cultural Heritage.
The event, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Hanoi People's Committee, marked a large-scale cultural diplomacy activity, gathering 48 participating countries.
With the aim of honoring the value of cultural diversity and enhancing people-to-people exchanges, the festival recorded a record number of foreign representative agencies participating, including 45 national cultural spaces, 34 international culinary booths, 23 art troupes, 12 publishing units and 22 countries participating in the international film screening program. All together create a colorful picture, where art, cuisine, cinema and world fashion converge in the heart of the thousand-year-old capital.

The opening ceremony took place on the evening of October 10 at the central stage of Thang Long Imperial Citadel, with the participation of many famous artists such as Tung Duong, Hoa Minzy and international artists. The art performances were elaborately staged, combined with 3D Mapping projection, carrying the message "Culture is the bridge of humanity - Creativity is the common language of the world".
The closing ceremony on the evening of October 12 will end in a vibrant atmosphere with performances by Truc Nhan, Hoang Thuy Linh... and many international artists.

The unique highlight of the festival is the fashion show “Heritage Steps” (October 11), which brings together nearly 100 traditional costumes from various countries, honoring the beauty of identity and cultural heritage through the language of materials, patterns and colors.
In addition, the “Cultural Road” will take the public on a tour around the world through exhibition booths introducing the culture, customs and languages of nearly 50 countries.
In the space of Thang Long Imperial Citadel, the audience can also enjoy traditional Vietnamese art performances such as Central Highlands Gong, Quan Ho, Chau Van, Cheo... along with international performances from Japan, Russia, Cuba, Indonesia, Iran, Palestine, Venezuela, UAE...
The food court, open for two days on October 11-12, will offer a multi-national experience where the public can sample the distinctive flavors of many cultures.
“World Cultural Festival in Hanoi” is not only a festival of art and creativity, but also affirms the strong attraction of the Capital – a center of cultural convergence, a place connecting civilizations and spreading humanistic values.
