People newspaper reported that Diane Keaton passed away on October 11 in California (USA), at the age of 79, according to family confirmation.
Diane Keaton's health has taken a turn for the worse in recent months. "It all happened so suddenly, it was heartbreaking for everyone who loved her. No one expected it, especially someone who was always full of energy and determination like Diane Keaton," a close friend of Keaton shared.
During the last months of her life, Diane Keaton was surrounded by family and kept completely private. Even longtime friends were unaware of her condition.
Diane Keaton puts her mansion up for sale before her death
One of the most surprising signs of Diane Keaton's transformation came in March this year, when she put her beloved mansion up for sale - the place she had once claimed she would live for the rest of her life.

"She loved her neighborhood," a neighbor told People . "Diane Keaton walked her dog almost every day, always wearing a hat and sunglasses, rain or shine. But in the last few months, we haven't seen her."

Never wanted to get married
During more than half a century of artistic activities, Diane Keaton appeared in more than 60 films , including The Godfather - the legendary trilogy, The First Wives Club and 8 films in collaboration with Woody Allen.
