Mister Vietnam season 1's mark and season 2's criteria changes

In 2019, the Mister Vietnam season 1 contest organized by Leading Media opened a playground exclusively for Vietnamese men. The co-champions of Mister Vietnam season 1 are Pham Dinh Linh ( Hanoi ) and Pham Minh Quyen (Dong Nai). The first runner-up is Tran Quang Thang (Quang Tri), the second runner-up is Le Huu Dat (Hai Phong) and Nguyen Hoai Nam (Hanoi). The Mister Vietnam contest was officially approved to be held from October 2023, but the Final will take place in 2024. According to the organizers, the criteria for this year’s Mister Vietnam contest have also changed a lot. Five years ago, the contest set the criteria to find a model who simply had a beautiful body and outstanding height. But this year, the criteria for the contest have changed according to world trends.

Mister Vietnam aims to find more versatile candidates, not only good at one field, but also possessing great potential in other fields. A dynamic, versatile young man is the image of a new-age youth, always knowing how to promote his own strengths.

The Mister Vietnam Organizing Committee also added that with these new points, the scoring criteria for Mister Vietnam this year will be the average score of the following factors: height, body shape, level, talent and active social activities... The height factor is not as important as in previous years.

In particular, in season 2, the age of contestants is also increased from 18-32 years old. The organizers said that the increased age is also in accordance with the competitions for men in the world. According to director Minh Khoi, the age of 18-32 is the most beautiful age of a man, also the age of a man in the process of completing his maturity. The organizers of Mister Vietnam want to accompany the contestants in that process.
