In 2024, the network operator successfully completed the assigned targets, with profits and state budget contributions exceeding the plan. In particular, MobiFone has deployed a series of breakthrough solutions, aiming to best serve people and businesses.

Upgrade infrastructure - Upgrade customer experience

MobiFone has gradually deployed breakthrough solutions, including: increasing infrastructure investment in major cities and hard-to-reach areas, expanding coverage, and cooperating to maximize the use of available resources, thereby ensuring stable network quality and meeting the increasing needs of customers. 4G and 5G investment projects deployed in 2024 will significantly improve MobiFone's network capacity.

Mr. Dean Coetzee, CEO of Enterprise Products Integration Pte Ltd (EPI), represented MobiFone in awarding the ANSI/TIA-942 certificate.

In 2024, MobiFone's network quality was maintained stably at many large events with large crowds. By applying digital technology to network operations and management, MobiFone has significantly improved its ability to detect and handle incidents, ensuring the best possible service quality and smooth transmission, thereby reducing customer complaints by 17%.

In addition to digital infrastructure, infrastructure platforms for IoT, data infrastructure, and cloud computing are also of special interest to MobiFone. In 2024, for the first time, MobiFone was granted the international certificate "TIA 942 Rated 3" for MobiFone's Data Center system. The Corporation's large, centralized Data Center project at Hoa Lac High-Tech Park has also been officially granted an Investment License and is being urgently deployed, opening up broader business possibilities for MobiFone's Data Center. Along with data infrastructure, the Corporation has also completed the accompanying product and service ecosystem, launching 15 new services such as VPC, Load Balancer, Object Storage, etc.

Rapid recovery after typhoon Yagi - affirming responsibility to society

On September 7, 2024, super typhoon Yagi - the strongest typhoon to hit Vietnam in the past 70 years - made landfall in the northern provinces, affecting millions of Vietnamese people. As soon as the forecast was received, the Corporation's leaders promptly directed relevant units to go directly to the hotspots; mobilize maximum resources and material resources on-site and across MobiFone to ensure network safety and quickly overcome incidents caused by storms and floods. At the same time, MobiFone and other network operators coordinated roaming to support customers when using the service, ensuring stable and smooth communication, quickly restoring the network to serve the operations of local authorities and the communication needs of customers in areas affected by storms and floods.

MobiFone stores in the affected areas are open continuously to serve the people: supporting charging, providing tap water, free wifi and activating SIM cards on the spot for customers. Joining hands to support people affected by storms and floods, the entire Corporation's staff donated nearly 2 billion VND. Along with that, MobiFone also donated more than 50 billion VND to accounts to help customers maintain continuous communication.

Also in 2024, MobiFone will continue to implement many meaningful social security programs, such as supporting solidarity houses in many provinces and cities; building schools in difficult areas; contributing to programs launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Fatherland Fronts at all levels.
