Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh is involved in controversy because of AntEX. |
In recent days, Shark Binh (businessman Nguyen Hoa Binh) and the AntEx cryptocurrency project have become the focus of attention of the domestic investor community. From Mr. Binh's statement that he is also a "victim", losing money and reputation because of cryptocurrency, the case has many complicated developments.
The personal account with the owner's verification stamp of Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh continuously appeared in posts mentioning AntEX and this person on social networks. The Chairman of NextTech company also "tagged" the names of those who expressed opposing opinions, ready to livestream confrontation. From here, the problem with the AntEX project was dug up again. Those who had suffered losses because of the digital currency spoke up to demand their rights when the price collapse was suspected not to be a natural development of the market.
Talking to Tri Thuc - Znews , Mr. Pham Hoang Anh, residing in Ho Chi Minh City, said that he is an investor who lost billions of dong because of AntEX. Currently, this user still holds a large amount of cryptocurrency from this project.
“I learned about and decided to buy AntEX after seeing Shark Binh's post in November 2021. I kept all the tokens until August 2022, was forced to transfer to Rabbit, the company canceled the VNDT Wallet and moved the project to Singapore,” said Mr. Hoang Anh. This person provided evidence of transactions of more than 1 billion VND through the Nganluong.vn portal, to convert into digital currency in the VNDT wallet. In addition, this person also bought AntEX through other sources. The total estimated loss is about 6 billion VND when the value of AntEX/Rabbit tokens is close to 0.

On Facebook, many investors who lost money because of the above mentioned cryptocurrency project also called for gathering and collecting evidence to file a complaint to the authorities about the incident, hoping to get their money back. According to Mr. Hoang Anh, after this person spoke up, some other victims also contacted to send letters.
“Winning and losing in investments is normal. I decided to file a complaint when anonymous programmer accounts spoke up about Shark Binh selling off AntEX. It is difficult to verify the statements of both Mr. Binh and the programmer team, but I hope the authorities will investigate to clarify the matter,” said Mr. Pham Hoang Anh.
On Facebook, an anonymous account, claiming to be the direct developer of the AntEX project, accused Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh of being the person behind the manipulation and illegal sale of millions of dollars. The information provided and the identity behind the above page cannot be verified at this time.
However, Shark Binh himself announced that the person who accused him was LVL, former CTO of NextTech, AntEX. The businessman said that this person had "betrayed and disappeared".
“Later, when stringing together many events such as backdooring into the programmer’s token warehouse, rug-pulling on investors, hacked blockchain wallets… and combining with some suspicious behaviors, the shareholders all agreed that he was behind everything that caused investors losses. As for shareholders like me, we have been wrongly accused for many years,” Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh wrote on his Facebook page.
Tri Thuc - Znews contacted Mr. Binh to discuss the incident, but there has been no official response yet.
