A border school in Moc Chau

This is the 4th border school in the project "Loving classrooms help children go to school" of the Green Gables group and friends.

Groundbreaking ceremony of the project "Loving classroom - Helping children go to school" and "Clean water for children" donated to Long Sap Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities.

The project includes 3 classrooms, 1 clean water facility at A Ma I School and 2 classrooms at A La School, with a total value of about 900 million VND. After completing the construction of these 2 schools, the program of completely eliminating temporary classrooms in the border communes of Moc Chau district, Son La province will be completed.

Upon receiving a request for help from the Long Sap border post, the Green Gables learned that the A Ma School in Long Sap commune is a resettlement area for people who gave up their land to build the Son La hydroelectric plant, and is one of the schools with special needs and difficulties. At the groundbreaking ceremony, Green Gables Chairman - Tran Le Hung expressed his gratitude to the border guards who connected and facilitated the smooth implementation of the project. The Department of Education and the School Board respectfully received this gift. The Green Gables team is always united, persistent and determined. The units have trusted and supported, and the individuals have joined hands to spread love.

The Chairman of Green Gables said: “This is the fourth school we have joined hands to build. These safe, spacious, and beautiful classrooms will help children in the border highlands confidently go to school like any other children. They will become young people with a solid foundation of knowledge, with knowledge, and a bright future, thereby helping the village to develop more and more, and the border area to become stronger and stronger."

Vice President of Green Gables - Sa Minh Dang said, the members of Green Gables, from children who were not full, not worried, but always deeply grateful for what they received to have today. Green Gables Team believes that everyone has valuable assets in knowledge, skills, ideas and also believes that sharing and giving those values is even more important and valuable "Giving is receiving".

"After each time we complete a school, we feel a lot of joy and feel our lives are more meaningful. From deep within each member, the desire to make personal efforts is more abundant. Everyone works hard to complete their study tasks to get the best results, and does extra work to contribute to the project," said Sa Minh Dang.

Discussing more about the project, Dang said that the whole team had many wonderful experiences together, learning to sympathize, share, love and appreciate.

"After this groundbreaking ceremony, we realized that each member of Green Gables has matured comprehensively. The meaningful work of the project has spread to many charitable organizations and individuals to join hands to complete 5 classrooms with a total construction area of over 300 m2 and a clean water project for children at A Ma School," Dang said.

On the groundbreaking day, the radiant joy on the faces of the students and teachers in the poor village lit up the small school. The sounds of singing and laughter echoed through the mountains and forests.

The villagers emotionally shared: "With the new school coming soon, the children will be able to study and play in much safer conditions. No more worrying about the cold wind blowing through the door cracks on winter days, no more worrying about the classroom leaking on rainy days."

The construction cost of the "Loving Classroom - Helping Children Go to School" and "Clean Water for Children" projects at A Ma and A La Schools this time was sponsored by the Green Gables Group, Hanoi Westminster School, Happy Smile Kindergarten, #SJVRC Organization, Deadfish 10K Swim Club Fund, Bu Baby Brand, P&F Group, and Class 3cam3 HWS.
