“Some enemy prisoners attempted suicide out of frustration at their government abandoning them,” Al Quds Brigades spokesman Abu Hamza said in a Telegram post.

"We will continue to treat Israeli hostages the same way Israel treats our prisoners," he added.
The Palestinian militant group did not specify what measures it had taken against the Israeli hostages.
Efforts by US-backed Arab peace negotiators have so far failed to achieve a ceasefire and the release of the remaining hostages in Gaza.
Hamas says any deal must end the war and force Israel to withdraw completely from Gaza, while Israel says it will only accept a pause in fighting until Hamas is defeated.
Another possible deal would be the release of Israeli hostages in Gaza in exchange for the freedom of Palestinians held in Israeli prisons.
