Mourinho stops following Roma

Italy Former coach Jose Mourinho unfollowed Roma on social media, after being fired.

Mourinho unfollowed Roma on Instagram on January 25. According to Goal , the "Special One" seems to want to erase his old club from his memory.

Mourinho led Roma from May 2021 to January 2024. He helped the Olimpico-based team win the 2021-2022 Conference League, reach the final of the 2022-2023 Europa League and twice finish sixth in Serie A. The Conference League is the first European Cup in Roma's 96-year history. However, on January 16, Mourinho was fired immediately after a 1-1 loss to Milan and dropped to ninth in Serie A. Roma then appointed former captain Daniele De Rossi until the end of the season.
