Nursing expenses for meritorious people in 2025 will increase

(Dan Tri) - From January 1, 2025, the nursing and rehabilitation regime for people with revolutionary contributions will be implemented at a standard level of VND 2,789 million, an increase of 35.7% compared to the current expenditure level.

On July 1, the Government issued Decree No. 77/2024/ND-CP amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 75/2021/ND-CP regulating the levels of benefits, allowances and preferential regimes for people with revolutionary contributions (amended and supplemented a number of articles according to Decree No. 55/2023/ND-CP).

The most important point of Decree No. 77/2024/ND-CP is to increase the standard level of preferential allowances for people with meritorious services to the revolution to VND 2,789,000 (referred to as the standard level). The increase in the standard level has led to an increase in subsidies, allowances, and incentives for people with meritorious services, including the preferential treatment for health rehabilitation.

The preferential health care regime for people with revolutionary contributions includes two forms: home health care and centralized health care.

When applying the new standard, the cost of home health care for people with revolutionary contributions will be 2,510,100 VND/person/time (0.9 times the standard cost/person/time); the cost of centralized health care will be 5,020,200 VND/person/time (1.8 times the standard cost/person/time).

According to Clause 3, Article 3 of Decree No. 77/2024/ND-CP, the health rehabilitation nursing regime for people with revolutionary contributions at home and the centralized health rehabilitation nursing regime applying the above new standard level will be implemented from January 1, 2025.

In addition, Decree No. 77/2024/ND-CP adds an expense item to the centralized health care and rehabilitation regime for meritorious people, which is the cost of sightseeing. After the addition, the centralized health care and rehabilitation regime for meritorious people will have 5 expense items.
