Muong Khuong: Successfully organized the 2024 National Defense Sports Festival

After 2 exciting days, on the afternoon of May 4, Muong Khuong district held the closing ceremony and awarded prizes for the National Defense Sports Festival and the 2024 Advanced Militia and Self-Defense Military Shooting Competition.

Participating in the 2024 National Defense Sports Festival and Military Shooting Competition to enhance militia and self-defense skills of Muong Khuong district are 16 delegations of athletes, representing militia of 16 communes and towns in the district.

The Organizing Committee awarded souvenir flags to units participating in sports and competitions.

The athletes competed in the following events: grenade throwing; armed swimming; armed running; military shooting lesson 1, lesson 2; and martial arts.

According to the Organizing Committee's assessment, the athletes promoted the spirit of solidarity, honesty, calmness, confidence and strictly followed the regulations, ensuring absolute safety of people, weapons, equipment and traffic safety.

As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded a total of 9 prizes to groups and individuals, including: 1 First prize, 1 Second prize, 1 Third prize for the whole team; 1 First prize, 1 Second prize, 1 Third prize for female individuals; 1 First prize, 1 Second prize, 1 Third prize for male individuals.
