Since the beginning of July, Agribank has continuously announced the auction of assets with nearly 30 land use rights, house ownership rights and other assets attached to land in Hoi An and Hoi An Dong wards, Da Nang city.
The auctioned properties include a house at 2A Nguyen Hue Street, with an area of over 124 square meters; two properties at 45/39 Tran Hung Dao Street, with usable areas of nearly 84 square meters and 139 square meters; and a property at H23/11, alley 49, Tran Hung Dao Street, with an area of over 161 square meters.
These 4 properties are all in Hoi An ward, and are being auctioned by the bank with a starting price of nearly 51 billion VND.

The largest asset in this auction of Agribank is real estate in Ngoc Thanh block, Hoi An ward, with an area of nearly 767 square meters, starting price of nearly 52 billion VND.
The remaining properties range from 90-200 square meters, priced at VND8-36 billion. These properties are used as collateral for loans from a series of companies.
Previously, in 2023, a number of major banks also continuously put up for sale dozens of real estate properties, hotels, and resorts in Hoi An. These properties are mostly owned by businesses operating in the tourism sector.
Last April, some of the above assets were also put up for sale but were unsuccessful. It is known that the total starting auction value of nearly 30 assets above was more than 300 billion VND, much lower than the total outstanding debt of the enterprises that borrowed from the bank.
