(GLO)- On July 2, the domestic gold bar price continued to increase by 400,000 VND, approaching the mark of 121 million VND/tael. The price of gold rings also increased simultaneously depending on each business.

Specifically, through the survey, at some businesses this morning, both buying and selling prices were listed higher. Among them, Bao Tin Minh Chau, SJC, PNJ listed 118.7-120.7 million VND/tael, an increase of 400,000 VND in both directions.

Mi Hong listed the buying price at 119.5 million VND/salary, 800,000 VND higher than other businesses, and the selling price at 120.5 million VND, 200,000 VND lower than other businesses. Phu Quy listed the buying price at 118.1 million VND, 600,000 VND lower than other businesses.

Meanwhile, the price of gold rings is still listed at different prices by businesses, generally with an upward trend. Specifically, SJC listed 114.3-116.8 million VND/tael; Bao Tin Minh Chau listed 114.1-117.6 million VND/tael; PNJ listed 114.5-117 million VND/tael; Mi Hong listed 115.2-116.7 million VND/tael; Phu Quy listed 114.2-117.2 million VND/tael.

According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 4:30 a.m. on July 2, Vietnam time, was 3,351.51 USD/ounce. Today's gold price increased by 66.6 USD/ounce compared to yesterday. Converted according to the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank (26,310 VND/USD), the world gold price is about 109.8 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of SJC gold bars is 10.9 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.
