The permission for ships and boats to return to sea is carried out according to the proposal of the Provincial Civil Defense Command in Official Dispatch No. 52/BCH.CCTL dated October 6 regarding the request to allow ships and boats to return to sea.
Accordingly, the People's Committee of Nghe An province has lifted the ban on boats going out to sea during storm No. 11, allowing fishermen to go out to sea to catch seafood and operate at sea from 11:00 a.m. on October 6. Boat and ship owners must regularly monitor weather forecasts to proactively prevent and promptly handle the worst possible situations, maintain contact with their families, the People's Committees of communes, wards and related units.
As a coastal locality, Nghe An province has 82 km of coastline with 6 large estuaries. The whole province has a total of nearly 2,900 vehicles with about 13,070 workers and thousands of rafts in coastal communes.
Previously, on October 5, the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued urgent dispatch No. 46/CD-UBND prohibiting boats from going to sea during storm No. 11 to ensure the safety of fishermen and boats.
