Nguoi Dua Tin won the A prize at the Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism Award.

Towards the 99th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21), on the afternoon of June 14, the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province organized the Summary and Awarding of the Huynh Thuc Khang Press Award, Thai Nguyen province, for the first time - 2024. This is the first provincial-level press award in Thai Nguyen.

According to the organizers, although it was the first time it was held, the Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism Award attracted the participation of many journalists from press agencies from central to local levels.

The Organizing Committee received 172 works in various categories including: 37 print works, 51 visual works, 28 audio works and 56 electronic works. The participants of the award are members of the Provincial Journalists Association, reporters and editors from the press and propaganda agencies of the province.

In particular, the Award also attracted many works from authors and groups of authors from central press agencies and representative offices of central press agencies located in the province.

Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Thanh Hai and Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee Vice Chairman Le Quang Tien presented the A prize to Journalist Ha Cong Luan - representative of the group of authors of Nguoi Dua Tin Magazine.

In general, the participating works are rich in topics, covering quite comprehensively political , economic, cultural and social issues; focusing on vividly, objectively and truthfully reflecting the achievements, typical models, breakthroughs and creative ways of Thai Nguyen province in implementing the resolutions of Party congresses at all levels.

The works reflecting on the work of Party building and protecting the Party's ideological foundation have a high level of discovery and criticism, drawing many good lessons, clearly demonstrating the leadership role of Party committees, Party cells and Party members. Many works have a discovery quality, highlighting new issues from the reality in localities and bases; the way of expression is vivid, attractive and creative in each type of journalism...

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Quang Tien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Award Organizing Committee, stated that the great achievements that the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Thai Nguyen province have achieved over the past time have had significant contributions from central news agencies and press as well as local press.

“Journalists, reporters, members and journalists do not mind difficulties and hardships, always keeping close to the breath of life. From there, they create journalistic works that objectively, truthfully and comprehensively reflect all aspects of economic and social life,” said Mr. Tien.

According to Mr. Tien, the first Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism Award of Thai Nguyen province - 2024, with the honoring of outstanding award-winning works, once again affirms the contribution and companionship of the team of journalists to the construction and development of Thai Nguyen province to become more and more prosperous and civilized, contributing to the successful implementation of the goals of the Resolution of the 20th Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Congress.

On the occasion of the 99th Anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day June 21, Mr. Le Quang Tien sent his best wishes to journalists, reporters, and editors of press agencies of Thai Nguyen province and central press agencies in the locality.

Mr. Tien hopes that journalists will always maintain their "professional passion", continue to contribute their intelligence and enthusiasm to the glorious revolutionary journalism career of the Party and the nation.

The Organizing Committee has awarded the Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism Award, Thai Nguyen Province, for the first time to 37 outstanding works in 4 types of journalism (including: print, television, radio and electronic newspapers). Of which, there are 4 A prizes, 7 B prizes, 11 C prizes and 15 Encouragement prizes.

Among the 4 A prizes, Life and Law Magazine (Nguoi Dua Tin Electronic Magazine) won A prize in the electronic newspaper category with the work "Promoting policies for sustainable development of Thai Nguyen" by the group of authors Ha Cong Luan, Hoang Thi Bich, Nguyen Thu Huyen, Le Manh Quoc, Nguyen Hoa Tra.
