On the afternoon of July 17, Standing Vice Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam inspected the trial operation and preparations for the inauguration of Hai Anh wind power plant project.
The Hai Anh wind power plant project, invested by Hai Anh - Quang Tri Wind Power Joint Stock Company, is a level II group B energy project with a capacity of 40 MW, built in Huong Phung and Lao Bao communes, Quang Tri province.
The total investment after tax for the project is about 1,500 billion VND. The project will start construction in 2023.

During implementation, the project encountered many difficulties due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, severe weather and prolonged site clearance problems.
However, up to now, 100% of the project area has completed site clearance, the main important technical items have been basically completed such as: Wind turbine item with 8/8 turbine pillars (each turbine capacity 5.0 MW); 22 kV underground cable item has completed the installation of 4 underground cable lines connecting from the wind turbine to 4 22 kV feeder compartments of the 22/110 kV transformer station of Hai Anh Wind Power Plant; 110 kV connection line longer than 3.38 km from the 110 kV station of Hai Anh Wind Power Plant to the 110 kV Lao Bao transformer station; SCADA measurement, protection, control system, telecommunications and information, self-consumed power system, operation management area...
Currently, the investor is coordinating with specialized agencies to carry out testing steps and prepare COD documents to put the project into commercial operation, expected on August 20, 2025.
It is expected that the investor will hold the inauguration ceremony of Hai Anh Wind Power Plant on August 19, 2025, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on September 2 (1945 - 2025).
At the inspection of the trial operation process and preparations for the inauguration of the Hai Anh Wind Power Plant project, Standing Vice Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam highly appreciated the investor for his efforts to overcome difficulties to complete and prepare for the inauguration of the project.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province requested the investor to continue reviewing the work, completing procedures on land reclamation, environmental restoration, area used for construction, ensuring safety...
At the same time, coordinate with the Department of Industry and Trade to complete the factory inauguration scenario, paying attention to effective communication of the project.
Standing Vice Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam also expressed his hope that investors of projects in the province in general and energy projects in particular will continue to accompany projects that bring efficiency to people and businesses.
The province will continue to work with investors to remove difficulties and obstacles, creating maximum conditions for businesses to operate.
