Accordingly, the award ceremony is part of a series of events celebrating the 10th anniversary of the World Leader for Peace and Security Award (2015-2015).

Since its inception in 2015, the Prize has been awarded to outstanding global leaders whose vision and actions have promoted world peace, democracy and ethical governance.

The winners of the Prize over the past 10 years have been great politicians and political and ideological leaders such as: Japanese Prime Minister Shizo Abe, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, Finnish President Sauli Niinisto, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Amma (Mata Amritanandamayi).

The ceremony will also see the release of AIWS Esteemed Digital Assets, celebrating the 10-year legacy of the Award-winning Leaders and connecting their leadership principles to the emergence of ethics in the Age of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
