Musician Pham Dang Khuong was born in 1957 in Quang Ngai , and is a familiar name in the music world of Ho Chi Minh City. His entire life has been closely associated with the Youth Cultural House (Ho Chi Minh City). Since 1977, when he was a student of the Mathematics Department of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, he attended the Song Composition class at the Youth Cultural House. He then became a member of the Youth Composition Club of the City Youth Union.

In 1991, musician Pham Dang Khuong became Head of the Department of Culture and Arts, then Deputy Director of the Youth Cultural House until his retirement in 2017. He graduated from the University of Music, Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music - Faculty of Theory - Composition - Conducting (in 1998). Musician Pham Dang Khuong is also passionate and talented in many fields of art.

In addition to composing music, in the later period he also designed his own recording studio, filmed, edited films, took artistic photos, directed videos and karaoke, and participated in making travel films in many countries around the world for famous travel companies.
