Pioneering school invites experts and artists to participate in educational activities

Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 5215/BGD&DT-GDPT dated September 3, 2025 of the Ministry of Education and Training, on September 17, Nguyen Sieu Secondary and High School (Hanoi) organized the thematic activity program "Continuing the story of peace" with the participation of many artists, aiming to educate students to understand more about history and nurture patriotism and national pride.

The talk show “Continuing the story of pride” had the participation of guests: Colonel, People's Teacher Nguyen Trong Vinh - Founder, Chairman of the Board of Nguyen Sieu School; Musician Nguyen Van Chung; Actor Phuong Nam; Singer Duyen Quynh; MC Thao Van, and nearly 2,000 teachers and students of the School.

The program is part of a series of September themed activities with the same theme, interdisciplinary experiences of Literature - Social Sciences of the School, aiming to build in students an attitude of respecting history, being grateful for the past, having a profound view of war, fostering patriotism, and arousing the sense of responsibility of each individual to the country.

Previously, the school organized for students from grade 8 and above, along with all teachers and staff of the school, to watch the movie Red Rain. After the movie viewing activity, 1,400 essays in many forms (poetry, literature, songs, letters...) were made by students of Nguyen Sieu School, to express their thoughts and feelings about the pain of war, about love for the homeland and gratitude towards history...

Originally a Literature teacher, Teacher Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy, Principal of Nguyen Sieu Secondary and High School (Hanoi) said: “The talk show “Continuing the story of pride” is an interdisciplinary integrated lesson between Literature and Social Sciences. The program is systematically developed by the Literature group, including before, during and after the program. Students watch movies, write essays, participate in exchanges with historical witnesses, actors, singers, etc. to understand more deeply the humanistic values ​​that musical and cinematic works want to convey."
