In set 1, the Japanese team created many surprises. Their tactical play made the Turkish defense passive in many situations. Along with that, the continuous mistakes from the opponent side brought more advantages to Japan.
After a series of back-and-forth points, the Asian team gradually pulled away with a score of 14-11. Türkiye almost relied on Melissa Vargas's smashes. The gap widened, and finally the Japanese women's volleyball team won the set 25-16.
However, going into set 2, Türkiye completely overcame its problems.
In which, the Karakurt star has improved his competitive spirit, thereby being more accurate in the first steps.
In addition, this player is also very effective in blocking the ball, effectively preventing hitters like Wada and Ishikawa. Türkiye equalized the match score with a 25-17 victory in set 2.

In the third set, Japan still could not overcome their weaknesses. Thanks to that, Türkiye continued to win quite easily 25-18.
But when they were at their wits' end, the Asian girls fought back strongly in set 4. Their resilience and tenacity were once again evident and they took the lead 21-17. Japan then came close to set point when they led 24-21.
But Türkiye was equally "stubborn", successfully saving all 3 set-points to tie the game 24-24. Missing the opportunity, the Japanese women's volleyball team's physical strength decreased. Türkiye took advantage of the opportunity to turn the situation around, winning 27-25 in set 4.
With a 3-1 win, Turkey marked the "first time in history" in the final of a Women's Volleyball World Championship. Meanwhile, the somewhat regrettable loss meant that Japan could only participate in the bronze medal match.
