Many activities at the Vietnamese Product Identification Program 2023

Mr. Do Thang Hai, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, said: “The results of the implementation of the Campaign “Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods”; the Program to Identify Vietnamese goods with the name “Proud of Vietnamese goods” have contributed to the excellent completion of economic targets towards curbing inflation and stabilizing the macro economy. The total turnover of retail goods and services from 2009 to present has had an annual growth rate of about 10% compared to the previous year”.

The Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade affirmed that in the coming time, the Ministry of Industry and Trade will continue to closely follow the policies of the Central Steering Committee of the Campaign, coordinate with members of the Steering Committee and localities in developing plans and synchronously and effectively implementing the Strategy "Domestic trade development for the period up to 2030, vision to 2045"; Preside over and coordinate with relevant units to deploy tasks under the Project on Domestic Market Development associated with the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" for the period 2021 - 2025, focusing on organizing market development activities called "Pride of Vietnamese goods", "Quintessence of Vietnamese goods".

Deputy Minister Do Thang Hai assessed that the annual program to Identify Vietnamese Goods with the names "Proud of Vietnamese Goods" and "Quintessence of Vietnamese Goods" organized by the Domestic Market Department in coordination with the Industry and Trade Magazine has made many creative efforts in implementation and achieved many encouraging results. The activities of the Program have truly inspired and connected tens of millions of Vietnamese people to Vietnamese goods; contributed to creating a new, dynamic flow in the current market; consumers increasingly appreciate the quality and reputation of Vietnamese goods brands.

This year's program includes many exciting activities taking place from December 9 to 11, with 3 highlights: "Pride of Vietnamese Goods" Festival, "Quintessence of Vietnamese Goods" 2023 at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, Hoan Kiem Lake walking street opening on the evening of December 9, lasting until December 10, 2023; Sports activities: "Pride of Vietnamese Goods" Run takes place on the morning of Sunday, December 10 with the participation of more than 1,000 officials and workers inside and outside the Industry and Trade sector at Hoan Kiem Lake walking street, Hanoi; Forum to promote production and consumption of Vietnamese goods held on the afternoon of December 11 at the International Convention Center, Hung Vuong, Hanoi.
