Important personnel contents at the 13th Central Conference

(Dan Tri) - The Central Committee has agreed to introduce new Central Committee personnel; give opinions on personnel to elect and approve many positions, including Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Home Affairs, and Minister of Foreign Affairs.

According to the Announcement of the 13th Central Conference, many important contents on personnel work were considered and decided by the Central Committee at this conference.

Introducing new Central personnel, personnel for ministerial approval

Regarding the introduction of personnel for the 14th Party Central Committee and the 14th Party Central Inspection Commission , the Central Committee determined that this is an "especially important" and "key of the keys" task, which is the decisive factor for the success of the 14th Party Congress and the country's development in the coming period.

After focused discussion and careful consideration of the proposed personnel, the Central Committee unanimously agreed to introduce personnel for the 14th Party Central Committee (official and alternate members; re-elected and first-time participants) and personnel for the 14th Party Central Inspection Committee (re-elected and first-time participants) to present to the 14th Party Congress.

Along with that, the Central Committee elected 4 additional members of the 13th Central Inspection Commission, including: Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Yen province; Mr. Tran Quoc Binh, Head of Department III of the Central Inspection Commission; Mr. Trinh The Binh, Head of Department, Secretary of the Politburo , Standing member of the Secretariat; Major General Tran Van Phuc, Director of Quang Ninh Provincial Police.

The Central Committee also gave opinions on personnel so that the Politburo could decide to introduce the XV National Assembly to elect the following positions: Secretary General of the National Assembly - Head of the National Assembly Office; Head of the National Assembly's Committee on Science, Technology and Environment; Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Head of the National Assembly's Delegation Affairs Committee, and approve the positions: Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs , Minister of Home Affairs.

The Central Committee agreed to let Mr. Le Quang Huy, member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Committee for Science, Technology and Environment of the 15th National Assembly, cease to hold the position of member of the 13th Central Committee.

Also at the 13th conference, the Central Committee decided to discipline Mr. Do Trong Hung, member of the Party Central Committee, former Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the People's Council of Thanh Hoa province, by removing him from all positions in the Party.

Mr. Hung violated Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks, in preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity; violated regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example; caused very serious consequences, outraged public opinion, and had a very negative impact on the reputation of the Party organization and local government.

Through documents submitted to the 14th Party Congress

Regarding the work related to preparing for the 14th Party Congress, after discussion, the Party Central Committee unanimously approved the documents to be submitted to the Congress, including: Draft Political Report; Draft Summary Report on a number of theoretical and practical issues on the socialist-oriented renovation process over the past 40 years in Vietnam; Draft Summary Report on 15 years of implementing the Party Charter.

The Central Committee at the 13th Conference also discussed and gave opinions on the time, content and program of the 14th Party Congress; focused on studying and discussing the Working Regulations and Election Regulations at the Congress.

Regarding the socio-economic situation, the Central Committee unanimously agreed that in the context of many complicated changes in the world situation, especially the US's reciprocal tax policy, conflicts, political instability in some regions and the heavy impact of natural disasters, the domestic socio-economy still achieved many important results.

Accordingly, the macro economy is maintained, economic growth is high, inflation is controlled, and major balances are ensured. The revolution of streamlining the Government apparatus and reorganizing administrative units at all levels, and implementing the 2-level local government model is also being vigorously implemented.

Along with that, the Central Committee pointed out a number of difficulties and limitations and gave many comprehensive instructions on issues related to socio-economic development in the last months of 2025 as well as tasks and solutions in 2026.
