The first candidates admitted to Hanoi Medical University

If the number of direct admission applications exceeds the quota, the school will consider the priority criteria in turn: Order of awards, English or French language certificate scores, and average score of 3 years of high school.

In 2024, Hanoi Medical University decided to recognize 178 candidates for direct admission to full-time university.

Regarding last year's benchmark scores, Hanoi Medical University announced benchmark scores from 19 to 28.83, the highest being Psychology in block C00 (Literature, History, Geography).

This is the first time Hanoi Medical University has recruited this major and the C00 group. If applying for Psychology with the D01 group (Math, Literature, English) and B00 group (Math, Chemistry, Biology), candidates need to achieve 26.86 and 25.46 points respectively.

In the traditional B00 group, Medicine still leads with 28.27 points, up 0.54 points compared to last year. If you have an IELTS 6.5 English certificate or DELF B2 French certificate (or equivalent), you only need to score 26.55 points to pass.

Following is the Dentistry major with 27.67 points, an increase of 0.17. For candidates with certificates, the standard score is 26.1.

The lowest score of 19 points applies to the majors of Medical Laboratory Technology and Rehabilitation Technology at Thanh Hoa branch.

In addition to considering the scores of three graduation exams, Hanoi Medical University also considers the scores of the Hanoi National University's competency assessment exam for the Nursing and Medical Laboratory Technology majors at the Thanh Hoa branch. Accordingly, the admission scores for these two majors are 77.25 and 87.5/150, respectively.
