The representative of the Organizing Committee said that most of the children attending had difficult family circumstances, many of them were undergoing long-term medical treatment at Can Tho Children's Hospital. Therefore, organizing the program was not only to give gifts but also to encourage their spirit, helping them feel the care and sharing of the community.
Mr. Tran Truong Chinh, Deputy Director of Can Tho Center for Disease Control (CDC), emphasized that the city's health sector has recently achieved many positive results in the care and treatment of children in special circumstances. The attention and support of the leaders of the Ministry of Health , the city, professional agencies and philanthropists have contributed to bringing the best medical and mental conditions to the children.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Secretary of Bac Ninh Provincial Youth Union Tran Van Dang emphasized: Mid-Autumn Festival 2025 has a special meaning. This year, children celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival in the context of Bac Ninh province starting new stages of development with the event of local government starting to operate according to the 2-level model, merging the two provinces of Bac Ninh and Bac Giang, the 1st Congress of Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 took place successfully. These important milestones are opening up many opportunities and promises for the development of the homeland.
In that atmosphere, the organization of a complete Mid-Autumn Festival is not just a simple festival, but also a strong affirmation from the Party Committee, government and people of the whole Bac Ninh province: In any circumstances, with all efforts, children are always the center of attention, the object of care with the best things.
With the theme “Lanterns light up dreams”, the 2025 Mid-Autumn Festival is a special gift for children on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival. Coming to the Festival, children can immerse themselves in the bustling atmosphere of the Mid-Autumn Festival with many unique cultural and artistic activities such as: Lion dance, lantern procession, dance, fashion show, dancing… through the skillful, lively and witty guidance of Ms. Hang and Mr. Cuoi.
This year's Mid-Autumn Festival is especially exciting with the Lion - Lion - Dragon Competition and traditional Mid-Autumn mascot performances. This is an opportunity for children and all the people in the province to enjoy the bustling atmosphere, while contributing to preserving and spreading the unique folk cultural beauty, imbued with the identity of Bac Ninh, a homeland rich in history and culture.
On this occasion, the Bac Ninh Provincial Children's Fund awarded 100 sponsorships to disadvantaged children who have overcome difficulties to study well, so that they can be more confident and strong on the journey ahead. The Organizing Committee awarded 150 "Helping children go to school" scholarships. The Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Children's Council coordinated with sponsors to award 10 scholarships to support heart surgery costs for children with congenital heart disease in the province, each worth 50 million VND, with a total value of 500 million VND.
These gifts are timely encouragement, deep trust, warm feelings and sharing from the whole society; hopefully, these gifts will be the fire, adding strength and motivation for the children to step more firmly on the path of studying, training, and nurturing great ambitions for the future.
