Ninh Binh responds to the National Digital Learning Festival

Delegates and people visited and experienced the implementation of the "community digital citizen" model and the "Digital Literacy" class.

Opening the festival, comrade Dinh Van Phung, Deputy Secretary and Chairman of Gia Tran Commune People's Committee, emphasized that this is not only an important occasion to raise awareness and arouse the spirit of self-study and lifelong learning among the people, but also a practical activity in response to National Digital Transformation Day (October 10) - the day the whole country moves towards the goal of "Digital data - a new resource for development".

Thereby, in order to continue promoting the movement of learning and using digital technology extensively among education managers, teachers, staff, students and all classes of people, conveying the message "Strongly applying digital technology to regular learning, lifelong learning, moving towards universalizing digital skills, skills to ensure safety and network security at a basic level for people".

Comrade Dinh Van Phung, Deputy Secretary, Chairman of Gia Tran Commune People's Committee delivered the opening speech of the Festival.

Speaking at the festival, comrade Ta Quang Phuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Ninh Binh province, highly appreciated the initiative and creativity of Gia Tran commune. The program is a good way of doing things, a creative model, demonstrating the innovative thinking of the Party Committee and the commune government. In particular, with the theme "All people learn digitally", it shows that Gia Tran commune has correctly identified the focus of digital transformation as starting from people, taking people as the center, the subject and goal of development.

After more than 3 months of officially operating under the 2-level local government model, Gia Tran commune has made remarkable progress in digital transformation and building a digital government. Gia Tran is always in the top of communes and wards in the province that have performed well in the indicators of providing online public services, developing digital infrastructure, and digital citizens. These initial results have affirmed the right direction of the commune and shown the rapid adaptation of both the political system and the people.

Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Ninh Binh province Ta Quang Phuong believes that every citizen will be able to proficiently use smartphones and computers to better serve their work and life; at the same time, he is committed to supporting localities in the process of implementing digital transformation activities.

In order for the National Digital Learning Festival and the 45-day peak campaign to achieve the best results, comrade Ta Quang Phuong suggested that the Party Committee and the Gia Tran commune government continue to pay close attention to leadership and direction, creating all favorable conditions for the movement to be deployed widely, effectively and substantially; regularly inspect, urge, promptly commend collectives and individuals who do well and have solutions to support difficult areas; socio-political organizations, villages and hamlets actively propagate and mobilize union members, association members and people of all walks of life to enthusiastically respond.

At the same time, each cadre, party member, union member, and association member must be a pioneer and exemplary role model in learning and applying digital skills, thereby spreading them to the family and community; each citizen should consider learning digital skills as a personal need...

Gia Tran commune leaders presented 22 sets of computers and printers from the Dinh Thuc Thong Scholarship Fund to the commune's Community Learning Center, worth nearly 400 million VND.

At the program, many activities took place such as establishing Gia Tran Commune Community Learning Center; signing emulation agreements; donating 22 sets of computers and printers to Gia Tran Commune Community Learning Center; visiting and experiencing the implementation of the model.
