After heavy rains caused by the storm, serious landslides occurred in many places in Nga My commune, especially on traffic routes. The landslides isolated 5 villages, including: Cha Hia, Dinh Tai, Na Kho, Na Ngan and Phay village. The isolation affected about 2,500 people.
Mr. Lo Kham Kha shared that, with the spirit of not letting people go hungry, thirsty, or cold due to natural disasters and floods, the local government has mobilized all forces with the determination to reach the isolated villages as soon as possible. While one force organizes the supply of food and necessities, other forces focus on overcoming landslides and reinforcing roads.

By the afternoon of October 19, cars and motorbikes had reached Cha Hia, Dinh Tai, and Phay villages; motorbikes had reached Na Kho village. Na Ngan village, however, still had to be reached on foot, but the route would soon be open. Currently, the people's basic necessities and food supplies are guaranteed.
