Determined to clear the road as soon as possible, the traffic management unit mobilized forces and machinery to work overtime through the night to handle landslides.
Although it was late at night, the traffic management unit still actively worked overtime through the night to handle landslides.
As a result, last night, August 28, officers and workers of the road management unit cleared the location at Km116+450. This is the location of the landslide with a large volume of earth and rock.
After the landslides were handled, the unit assigned people to guide and ensure traffic.
Currently, the section of National Highway 47 from Yen Nhan commune to Bat Mot commune still has many landslides causing traffic jams, and is continuing to be approached and handled by the road management unit.
To provide relief to people in the border commune of Bat Mot who have been cut off in recent days, forces had to carry food and provisions along the trails to reach the cut-off area.
Because we have not yet reached Bat Mot commune, we have not yet determined the volume of landslides from Yen Nhan commune to Bat Mot commune. Currently, the unit is concentrating large excavators, dividing them into construction teams, clearing and leveling rocks and soil, determined to open the traffic as soon as possible so that forces can access and support Bat Mot residents who suffered damage caused by storms and rains.
