The 2023 Miss Friendship International contest took place in Sichuan, China with the competition of nearly 60 contestants from countries and territories around the world .

This beauty contest aims to promote international friendship between countries and territories around the world towards the goal of world peace .

The final night of Miss International Friendship 2023 took place on the evening of October 27, in China (local time). The contestants went through many rounds to demonstrate their performance and handling of situations.

In the national costume competition, Nong Thuy Hang impressed with the design "Dau An Phap Lam" by designer Nguyen Viet Hung.

According to the designer, this outfit was inspired by Hue enamel art. The outfit shows a creative combination of the ao dai and ao yem forms.

Afterwards, Nong Thuy Hang continued to show her confidence in evening gowns. She wore a mermaid-shaped design with elaborate embellishments.

After the rounds of competition, beauty Chin Zhu Zhi Ying - representative of host country China - won the crown of Miss International Friendship 2023. Nong Thuy Hang won the title of second runner-up.

Nong Thuy Hang shared after being crowned: “When the MC called Vietnam for the second runner-up position, I was overwhelmed with happiness. This victory means a lot to me.

My parents went to China to attend and cheer for me at the final night, which was a great motivation for me to win this victory."

Previously, in the talent competition, Nong Thuy Hang also made an impression when showing off her singing talent, performing the song We Welcome You in Vietnamese, English and Chinese.

Nong Thuy Hang was born in 1999 in Ha Giang. She is of Tay ethnic group.

In July 2022, Nong Thuy Hang was crowned Miss Ethnic Vietnam 2022 .

She is currently active in the arts with many roles such as model, actress, and MC.

Recently, Nong Thuy Hang has actively participated in community activities, implementing projects to promote national cultural identity to international friends.
