Female militia from Nghe An shares Southern specialties upon returning from the parade

Military Region 4 welcomes returning parade participants ( Video : Hoang Lam).

On the evening of May 2, Military Region 4, Nghe An province held a ceremony to welcome officers, soldiers, militia and self-defense forces of the Military Commands of 5 provinces Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh , Quang Tri, Hue city and units of Military Region 4, units stationed in Military Region 4... who successfully completed the task of marching and marching to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Representatives of Military Region 4 leaders came to the airport gate to present flowers to congratulate and encourage the forces participating in the parade and marching back.

Major General Le Hong Nhan, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Military Region 4, congratulated the forces participating in the parade for successfully completing their tasks.

Participating in the parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day is not only the pride of each officer and soldier, but also the responsibility and honor of the armed forces of Military Region 4.

The parade participants returned to a warm welcome from comrades, relatives and people.

Female militiamen of Nghe An province were radiant when they landed at Vinh airport at 9:00 p.m. on May 2, after a journey of more than 1,300km.

Their return is filled with pride in having contributed a small part to the country's important event and the affection of their fellow countrymen in the South.

Ms. Le Tra My (Northern female militia, Thanh Hoa province) shared: "I am very happy and proud to have participated in the training and contributed a small part to the success of the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

Not only me but all the brothers and sisters of the forces of Military Region 4 were very happy and moved by the warm welcome of the leaders of Military Region 4, the leaders of the Military Commands of the provinces, localities and their families."

The joy of returning home was accompanied by uncontrollable emotions when meeting family and loved ones again. To carry out the mission, the forces had to temporarily leave their families for nearly 5 months...

Ms. Vo Thi Thao (left, Northern female militia, Ha Tinh province) was moved to see her daughter again after 3 months away from home on duty.

Ms. Thao was also surprised when 15 members of her extended family traveled nearly 100km from Ha Tinh to Nghe An to pick her up.

Also returning on the same flight were members of the Coast Guard. These were outstanding elements selected from units of Military Region 4 to participate in the parade celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

Professional soldier Captain Chau Anh Tuan (Military Region 4) shared his pride and emotions on the day of his return.

The male Lieutenant shared that after completing the special mission "a soldier is very proud of", he will spend time visiting his parents and taking his wife for regular pregnancy check-ups. At the time Lieutenant Tuan was away from home on duty, his wife was only 2 months pregnant. For the past 4 months, his wife had to take care of herself and have regular pregnancy check-ups without her husband by her side.

Leaders of Nghe An Provincial Military Command presented flowers and congratulated the Provincial Women's Militia Platoon. Participating in the Northern Women's Militia Bloc formation at the parade were 28 female militiamen of Nghe An Province.

After training in the three regions of Central - North - South, the female militia of Nghe An have excellently completed their tasks, contributing to beautifying the image of heroic - indomitable - loyal - responsible Vietnamese women.

The female militia were emotional at the moment of farewell after many months of training and performing tasks together.
