Launching the series of events of the Vietnam Essence Awards

On the afternoon of October 4, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Organizing Committee held a press conference to announce the Tinh Hoa Viet Awards. The awards are held to contribute to spreading the unique cultural and artistic values ​​of the Vietnamese people.

The Tinh Hoa Viet Award is organized annually by Dai Doan Ket Newspaper and ZOA Creative Media Company Limited to honor individuals, groups, works or outstanding initiatives that have had a profound influence in the field of culture and arts.

According to Dr. Nguyen Dang Khang, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Dai Doan Ket Newspaper, the honored subjects are Vietnamese citizens or people of Vietnamese origin around the world who meet the criteria of the Organizing Committee, demonstrating a pioneering role, orientation or the ability to spread good values ​​in society.

"Culture is considered an endogenous strength, a national foundation and a resource for national development. Dai Doan Ket Newspaper and its partners hope to use the Tinh Hoa Viet Award nationwide to promote factors that contribute to promoting the creative ecosystem, inspiring creativity for the community and creating a foundation for quintessential values ​​to continue to flourish and develop in the future, contributing to building a foundation for the Vietnamese cultural and artistic ecosystem in the new era, the era of national growth," said Dr. Nguyen Dang Khang.

According to the Organizing Committee, the Vietnam Essence Awards have award categories covering many fields of Culture and Arts, including Music Essence; Multi-field Arts Essence and the Special Award of Devotion Essence (for individuals with long-term, persistent contributions and profound influence on the development of Vietnamese culture and arts).

Poet Hong Thanh Quang, representative of the Jury, emphasized: "The concept of "Vietnamese Essence" through the award will be recognized and understood from many aspects, thereby determining the criteria and standards of outstanding Vietnamese values ​​in the context of Vietnam's deep integration with the world, but still preserving the core values ​​of the Vietnamese people."

From October 15 to November 15, 2025, the Organizing Committee will receive nominations through the website tinhhoavietawards.vn and the program's official Tiktok page. On December 12, the official nominations will be announced. From December 12, 2025 to January 1, 2026, the Organizing Committee will open an online voting portal for the audience. Along with that, the Jury and the Journalists Council will conduct the judging according to professional criteria. In January 2026, the official Awards Gala will take place, honoring individuals, groups, and outstanding works of the year.
