According to the General Statistics Office, total state budget expenditure in the first 15 days of January 2024 is estimated at VND 46,400 billion, equal to 2.2% of the year's estimate.

Reporting on the socio-economic situation in January 2024, the General Statistics Office said that in the first 15 days of January 2024, production and business activities had not yet reached the tax declaration period, so the estimated state budget revenue reached 2.6% of the year's estimate.

State budget expenditures promptly meet the spending needs for the operation of the State apparatus, pay salaries and pensions on time, and implement social security policies well so that people can celebrate Tet with peace of mind.

Regarding state budget revenue, the first 15 days of January 2024 is estimated at 43.7 trillion VND, equal to 2.6% of the year's estimate.

Specifically, domestic revenue reached 30,600 billion VND, equal to 2.1% of the year's estimate. Of which, revenue from the State-owned enterprise sector reached 995 billion VND, equal to 0.6%; revenue from foreign-invested enterprises (excluding crude oil) was 3,719 billion VND, equal to 1.6%; revenue from non-State industrial, commercial and service taxes was 6,560 billion VND, equal to 2%; revenue from personal income tax was 2,686 billion VND, equal to 1.7%; revenue from environmental protection tax was 309 billion VND, equal to 0.8%; revenue from land use fees was 7,417 billion VND, equal to 3.3%.

Revenue from crude oil reached VND2,404 billion, equal to 5.2% of the year's estimate. Budget revenue from import-export activities reached VND10,600 billion, equal to 5.2% of the year's estimate.

Regarding state budget expenditure, total state budget expenditure in the first 15 days of January 2024 is estimated at VND 46,400 billion, equal to 2.2% of the yearly estimate. Including: Regular expenditure reached VND 28,200 billion, equal to 2.2%; development investment expenditure VND 5,900 billion, equal to 0.9%; debt interest payment VND 12,300 billion, equal to 11.1%.
