Mr. Johnathan Hanh Nguyen successfully auctioned three paintings worth 50,000 USD and contributed another 50,000 USD, totaling 2.4 billion VND, to raise funds for charity.
On October 16, IPPG Chairman Johnathan Hanh Nguyen and his wife - Ms. Le Hong Thuy Tien - completed the donation of 100,000 USD to the Ho Chi Minh City Consulate General Club Charity Fund.
According to the fund representative, all proceeds from the auction of paintings, handbags, valuable items... will be given to three organizations: Planète Enfants and Development Vietnam (supporting abused Vietnamese women), VietHarvest (donating food to disadvantaged Vietnamese communities) and VinaCapital Foundation ("Brighter Path Girl's Club" project to raise awareness and education for ethnic minority girls).

Previously, at a dinner party themed "Together to be stronger" in Ho Chi Minh City at the end of September, Mr. Hanh Nguyen spent 50,000 USD to auction three engravings by artist Duong Ngoc Canh and donated an additional 50,000 USD to support the charity fund.
After the auction, Mr. Hanh Nguyen decided to give two paintings to the representative of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Foreign Affairs and Mrs. Milena Padula - wife of the Italian Consul General and President of the Ho Chi Minh City Consul General Club Charity Fund. He gave the remaining work to his wife.
Mr. Johnathan Hanh Nguyen said he was moved when following a series of charity programs in Vietnam by the wives of consuls general, diplomats , and the foreign community living and working in the S-shaped land.
"As a Vietnamese citizen, I have the duty to join hands with diplomats to do more good things for our people. We need your support to move towards a developed Vietnam. We need a united world , to forget Covid-19 and war, to help make human life better.

Ms. Milena Padula - President of the Ho Chi Minh City Consulate General's Charity Fund - revealed that the fundraising event was "sold out", with the participation of many individuals and organizations, including Ms. Pham Tran Thanh Thao - Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Foreign Affairs; Mr. Enrico Padula - Consul General of Italy - and his wife. Along with that were commercial counselors, consuls general of 20 countries in Ho Chi Minh City such as France, Australia, Singapore, India, Thailand... and domestic and international enterprises.
"On behalf of the fund, I would like to express my sincere thanks to IPPG Chairman Johnathan Hanh Nguyen for his sentiments and contributions. I will hang the painting at the consulate general to mark a successful fundraising party," said Milena Padula. Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Foreign Affairs - Thanh Thao - also highly appreciated Mr. Hanh Nguyen's gesture.

For many years, IPPG Group and IPPG Community Fund (coordinated by director Tien Nguyen - daughter of Mr. Hanh Nguyen) have promoted social work and volunteer activities. Tien Nguyen said that she always carefully considers and evaluates new programs she participates in.
"IPPG Community Fund focuses on a series of meaningful programs and projects for the benefit of children and Vietnamese education, spreading positive values to the community," said Tien Nguyen.
