Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet continues to be Secretary of Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee

Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet, Secretary of Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, was re-appointed as Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

On the morning of October 10, the 1st Congress of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, announced the decisions to appoint 67 people to the Provincial Party Executive Committee, 20 people to the Provincial Party Standing Committee, and to appoint the positions of Secretary and 4 Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee for the new term.

Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, was appointed by the Politburo and the Secretariat to continue holding the position of Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

The four appointed Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee include Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Van Ut, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Pham Hung Thai, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.

Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet was born on January 6, 1972, in Khanh Nhac commune, old Yen Khanh district, Ninh Binh province. Professional qualifications: Bachelor of Law, Master of Party and State Administration Building. Advanced level of political theory.

From March 1993 to October 1997, Mr. Quyet was a secretary and general specialist of the People's Court of Ninh Binh province.

From October 1997 to April 1999, he was a general specialist at the Department of Justice of Gia Lai province.

From November 2001 to June 2003, he was an Inspector, Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee Inspection Committee.

From July 2003 to May 2005, he was Deputy Chief of Office of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission.

From May 2005 to August 2007, he was Head of the Professional Department of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission.

From August 2007 to June 2012, he was Chief Inspector, Central Inspection Commission.

From June 2012 to October 2019, he was Deputy Head of Local Department VII, Central Inspection Commission.

From October 2019 to January 2021, he was Head of Department II of the Central Inspection Commission.

From January 2021 to June 2021, he was Head of Local Department V, Central Inspection Commission.

From June 2021 to July 2023, he was a member of the Central Inspection Commission.

From July 2023 to February 2025, he held the position of Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Commission.

From February 2025 to June 2025, he held the positions of Provincial Party Secretary, Secretary of the Military Party Committee of Long An Province, and Party Committee member of the Party Committee of Military Region 7.

From June 30, 2025, he was appointed by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

The first Congress of Tay Ninh Party Committee took place from October 8 to 10, 2025. On the working day of October 10, Mr. Nguyen Van Nen, Politburo member, Standing member of the 14th Party Congress Document Subcommittee attended and directed the congress.

Also attending the congress were Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Tran Luu Quang, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc, former President Truong Tan Sang, along with leaders and former leaders of the Central Government, Tay Ninh province and many localities.
