Mr. Pham Van Thanh temporarily runs Petrolimex

On May 8, information from the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) said that the Board of Directors of Petrolimex has just issued Resolution No. 133/PLX-NQ-HĐQT on personnel work at the group.

Accordingly, the rights and obligations of the General Director as stipulated in the Charter of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group for Mr. Dao Nam Hai are temporarily suspended. At the same time, Mr. Pham Van Thanh - Chairman of the Board of Directors, the legal representative of the Group, is assigned to temporarily manage Petrolimex .

Effective from May 8, 2025 until further notice.

Previously, on May 6, the Ministry of Finance decided to temporarily suspend Mr. Dao Nam Hai from his position as representative of state capital at Petrolimex until a conclusion is reached by the competent authority. The decision takes effect from the date of signing.
