Petrolimex donates 2 billion VND to flood victims in Thai Nguyen and Lang Son

Responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to support local people to overcome the consequences of storms and floods, the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex/Group) has donated 2 billion VND to people in Thai Nguyen and Lang Son provinces, to join hands to support people to overcome difficulties, overcome the consequences of natural disasters and soon stabilize their lives.

With the spirit of urgent action, providing the earliest support to thousands of households submerged in floodwaters and isolated, on October 8, 2025, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Diem Thuy commune, Thai Nguyen province, the Petrolimex working group led by Deputy General Director Nguyen Sy Cuong, along with representatives of the Vietnam Petroleum Trade Union, the Group's functional departments and the Youth Union, visited and encouraged; at the same time, presented 1 billion VND in support and necessities worth 100 million VND to people in Thai Nguyen province. On the same day, the working group also visited and encouraged workers at Petrolimex Thai Nguyen One Member Co., Ltd. who suffered damage caused by storms and floods.

Petrolimex Deputy General Director Nguyen Sy Cuong presented 1 billion VND and essential goods to support flood victims in Thai Nguyen province.

Petrolimex Deputy General Director Nguyen Sy Cuong and representatives of the Vietnam Petroleum Trade Union, the Group's functional departments and the Youth Union presented essential goods to people in flood-hit areas in Thai Nguyen province.

Vice President of Vietnam Petroleum Trade Union Duong Xuan Chien presented 100 million VND to support workers at Petrolimex Thai Nguyen Company Limited who suffered damage caused by storms and floods.

On the afternoon of October 8, 2025, at the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lang Son province, the Petrolimex delegation led by the Standing Committee member of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Petroleum Trade Union Nguyen Thanh Son, along with representatives of the Group's functional departments and the Youth Union, visited and presented 1 billion VND to support people affected by storms and floods through the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lang Son province; at the same time, they supported necessities worth 100 million VND to help households overcome difficulties caused by storms and floods. On the same day, the Petrolimex delegation also visited and encouraged workers at Petrolimex Lang Son One Member Co., Ltd. who suffered damage caused by storms and floods.

The working delegation led by Chairman of the Vietnam Petroleum Trade Union Nguyen Thanh Son visited and presented 100 million VND to support workers at Petrolimex Lang Son Company Limited who suffered damage caused by storms and floods.
