Launching the "Safe Motherhood" communication campaign in 2025

On September 30, at the People's Committee of Tay Khanh Vinh commune, Khanh Hoa Provincial Center for Reproductive Health Care held a launching ceremony for the Communication Campaign in response to the "Safe Motherhood" Week in 2025, with the theme "Comprehensive Postpartum Care - Health for Mother, Future for Baby".

Leaders of the Provincial Center for Reproductive Health Care presented medical equipment for women's health care to a number of health stations.

At the ceremony, nearly 120 women's union officials, youth union members, pregnant women, couples with young children, and women of reproductive age in the commune were informed and communicated some knowledge about health care during pregnancy, safe motherhood; care and nutrition for newborns and young children...

On this occasion, the Provincial Center for Reproductive Health Care donated 2 blood pressure monitors and gynecological examination support lamps to 3 health stations: Giang Ly, Lien Sang and Khanh Thuong; and 20 gifts (including milk and Mid-Autumn lanterns) to children participating in the launching ceremony and children being treated at Khanh Vinh Regional Health Center. At the end of the ceremony, the Youth Union members organized a media parade on some main roads of the commune.

The 2025 “Safe Motherhood” Week was implemented nationwide from October 1 to 7 to contribute to raising awareness and changing people’s behavior on maternal and newborn health care. The activity is part of Project 7 - Taking care of people’s health, improving the physical condition and stature of ethnic minorities; preventing child malnutrition under the National Target Program on Socio -Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas by 2025.
