Xuan Lap Ward and Bau Sen Ward (old Long Khanh City) have quite similar natural, economic , social and population conditions. After merging the two localities, the new Xuan Lap Ward has a natural area of ​​over 29km2 and a population of nearly 19,000 people.

With the strength of fruit tree area of ​​over 860 hectares in the total area of ​​1,150 hectares of agricultural land, Xuan Lap ward has better conditions to build and exploit the strength of agricultural economy combined with services and garden tourism.

Farmer Tran Van Tri (residing in Phu My quarter, Xuan Lap ward) has over 1.6 hectares of durian planted for over 8 years. To make the garden more beautiful and increase its value, he planted grass and flowers under the tree canopy to give tourists a place to enjoy. With this model, his durian garden not only brings in an income of nearly 1 billion VND/year but is also praised by many people as a beautiful garden, with a friendly and hospitable owner when he opens the garden to welcome visitors for free.

In the 2025-2030 term, Xuan Lap Ward Party Committee strives for: Average annual growth rate of total product value to reach 7.37%; budget revenue to increase by 10%/year; average income per capita by 2030 compared to 2025 to increase by 5.85%... In which, the orientation of local economic development is towards urban - service - sustainable ecological agriculture.

Farmer Nguyen Van Minh (residing in Bau Sen quarter, Xuan Lap ward) shared: When the locality implemented the policy of developing garden ecotourism, he and many other farmers boldly responded and implemented it with the support and assistance of the government. Thanks to that, this economic model initially brought positive results.

Visitors can also enjoy the natural scenery in the heart of the city; the local people are hospitable and friendly.

After implementing the two-level local government, the socio-economic development of Xuan Lap ward has maintained a fairly good growth rate. Trade - service activities, agriculture, and agricultural production continue to develop steadily, digital transformation has been initially applied in many fields, contributing to improving management efficiency and labor productivity. The mechanization rate reached over 90% in land preparation, care and harvesting; many farming households have applied drip irrigation, spraying pesticides by drone, and managing gardens by smartphone. The whole ward currently has 6 cooperatives and 21 cooperative groups, operating effectively in the fields of fruit trees, agricultural services, and plant variety production.

In the 2025-2030 term, the Xuan Lap Ward Party Committee has set out a breakthrough task in economic development, focusing on developing organic agriculture, applying high technology associated with garden eco-tourism and experiential agriculture.

Along with the breakthrough task, the Resolution of the Xuan Lap Ward Party Congress clearly pointed out the important tasks that need to be implemented. For example, encouraging households to convert their individual business models to small and micro-enterprise models; supporting the establishment of new multi-industry service cooperatives or linking cooperative groups. Prioritizing the development of trade and services in the old Bau Sen area; encouraging the model of agricultural tourism associated with fruit trees.

Focus on converting ineffective agricultural land into organic, high-tech, traceable cultivation models. Support the formation of specialized areas for growing specialty fruit trees and medicinal plants, combined with the model of Experiential Tourism Gardens, contributing to the development of service economy associated with agriculture. Build "enterprise - cooperative - farmer" linkage programs, expand agricultural product output through e-commerce, supermarket chains, convenience stores, agricultural "markets"... Develop agricultural logistics services, compact logistics to serve local consumption and neighboring areas, contributing to increasing the value of local supply chains.

“Xuan Lap Ward, Dong Nai Province has both a traditional agricultural area and borders rapidly urbanizing localities, with expanded development space; technical infrastructure is gradually invested; trade - service activities, small industry and rural industries have strong development potential.
