Promoting the value of tourism heritage in Central America

Trung My commune, Binh Xuyen district ( Vinh Phuc province) has a favorable geographical location, many valuable historical and cultural relics with beautiful customs and practices, and a unique folk cultural treasure that has been chosen by the district and province to develop spiritual cultural tourism.

With cultural advantages, the Party Committee and authorities of Binh Xuyen district have paid attention to leading and directing the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage values ​​associated with tourism development, especially spiritual cultural tourism.

Many relics have been invested in, restored and embellished, of which some valuable relics have been ranked at the provincial level; some major festivals attract domestic and foreign tourists, contributing to educating the younger generation about history, cultural traditions and revolutionary ideals, developing the socio -economy, and improving the material and spiritual life of the people.

Based on this reality, Trung My commune has built and implemented the "Tourism development project for the period 2020 to 2025 and orientation to 2030" with specific goals, solutions and appropriate directions to create jobs, increase income for people, restore traditional craft villages to contribute to improving material and spiritual life, and protect local human and ecological resources.

Mr. Truong Quang Vinh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Trung My Commune, said: The commune has 8 villages with more than 2,000 households and nearly 8,000 people, belonging to 16 ethnic groups living together near the foot of Tam Dao mountain. Of which, ethnic minorities account for nearly 60%, mainly the San Diu ethnic group.

"The commune's transportation system currently has three main routes. The commune currently has hotels, restaurants, and many entertainment and sports areas to serve the needs of the people and tourists when they come to visit and relax," Mr. Vinh added.
