In the last months of the year, the province focused on promoting deep processing and improving product quality to expand export markets.

Breakthrough with green, clean production

My Lam Tea Joint Stock Company has 367 hectares of tea and has linked up with more than 600 tea-growing households in the My Lam hills, where the climate and soil conditions are favorable for high-quality tea varieties. It is expected that in 2025, the company will export about 1,500 tons of various types of tea, including 600 tons of green tea. The entire tea area is cultivated organically, without the use of chemical pesticides, in compliance with clean agricultural standards.

Mr. Le Huy Giang, Director of the Company, said: In 2025, the Company will proactively switch to producing green tea for export to Asia instead of processed black tea for the Central European market. Recently, the Company has achieved prestigious international certifications such as FDA (USA), HALAL (for the Muslim market). Certification is not only to meet technical inspections, but also to change production thinking, long-term investment in quality and transparency of the supply chain.

Tuyen Quang has Thanh Thuy International Border Gate connecting with Yunnan Province (China), opening up great opportunities for import and export of goods. Tuyen Quang-Phu Tho Expressway connects with the Hanoi-Lao Cai Expressway which is already in operation; Tuyen Quang- Ha Giang Expressway (phase 1) is about to be completed, which will further increase investment attraction for the province.

The province currently has one economic zone, three industrial parks: Binh Vang, Long Binh An, Son Nam and 16 industrial clusters with a total area of 30,141 hectares, attracting 132 projects, with a total registered investment capital of more than VND 228,577 billion, creating jobs for nearly 13,300 workers. Industrial clusters alone attract 43 projects, with a total registered capital of more than VND 8,136 billion, creating jobs for nearly 10,200 workers. The locality is promoting industrial development towards processing, manufacturing and energy industries with a circular economy and green growth; attracting high-tech industries.

The year 2025 will be full of challenges for the domestic paper industry, especially the consumption of paper and pulp products. To cope, An Hoa Paper Joint Stock Company has proactively expanded its export markets to India, China, Iran and towards the US market. In the first nine months of 2025, the export turnover reached 5 million USD. It is expected to reach an additional 5 million USD in the fourth quarter, bringing the total export turnover for the year to 10 million USD.

Mr. Hoang Minh Son, the company's Human Resources and Administration Director, said: The company identifies product quality as a key factor. From 2022, the company has achieved national brand certification, affirming its reputation in the market. In addition, all input materials have clear origins and are FSC certified for international export.

Synchronously deploy solutions

Tuyen Quang province continues to implement policies to encourage industrial development, support businesses to expand production, innovate technology, and develop infrastructure of industrial clusters. Along with that, leaders of departments, branches, and localities proactively remove difficulties, create favorable conditions for businesses, helping industrial production activities continue to grow steadily.

The industrial production index for the whole industry in the first nine months of 2025 increased by 6.71% over the same period in 2024. Many sectors increased impressively: Food production and processing increased by 5.94%; textile increased by 63.76%; leather and related products increased by 22.75%; electronic products, computers and optical products increased by 76.88%; bed, wardrobe, table and chair production increased by 28.35%...

Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Loc Kim Lien said: The province aims to develop four groups of products: Agricultural and forestry products; processing and manufacturing industry; garments and new products. Along with that, the locality promotes market diversification, exploiting opportunities from FTAs such as CPTPP, EVFTA, UKVFTA, RCEP to increase exports to the European Union (EU), Japan, China, Korea, ASEAN and access to the US, Russia, India, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America.

The province supports businesses in updating trade policies and market information to adjust production plans. The locality urgently speeds up the progress of infrastructure construction at Thanh Thuy Border Gate Economic Zone; Long Binh An and Binh Vang industrial parks; Phuc Ung 2, Xuan Van, and Nhu Khe industrial clusters... Phuc Ung 2 is the first pilot model of smart industrial cluster. This is a concrete step to develop modern industry, apply high technology, digital transformation, improve productivity and product quality.

The Industry and Trade Department of Tuyen Quang is focusing on the following tasks: completing the infrastructure of industrial parks and clusters; developing processing and renewable energy industries; attracting high-tech industries; and promoting the circular economy. This is the foundation for Tuyen Quang to promote its advantages, making industry a growth driver, making an important contribution to socio-economic development in the coming years.
