On the morning of May 18, the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity held its fourth session. The Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee reported on the results of the Steering Committee's activities after the third meeting; the addition of the Provincial Steering Committee's 2023 work program on supervising socio-economic inspections, implementing conclusions and recommendations of the Government Inspectorate , ministerial and branch inspectorates, and the State Audit in the province in 2022; draft plan and supervision content.

Members of the Provincial Steering Committee focused on discussing and clarifying some of the achieved results, remaining issues and their causes; proposing solutions to speed up the settlement of 4 cases and 3 incidents under the monitoring and direction of the Provincial Steering Committee and tasks and solutions to effectively implement the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity in the coming time.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Ngo Dong Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity, acknowledged and assessed that in the past time, the members of the Provincial Steering Committee have promoted their sense of responsibility, actively performed assigned tasks, and achieved good results in each field. The Provincial Steering Committee has proactively grasped the situation and promptly directed arising incidents right at the grassroots level. The work of propagating and disseminating the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws continued to receive attention, contributing to creating unity and high consensus among the entire political system, cadres, party members and people of all walks of life in performing the province's tasks. Thanks to that, the political security situation and social order and safety in the province have been maintained.

He suggested that in the coming time, members of the Provincial Steering Committee continue to closely follow the assigned tasks to effectively organize and implement the tasks agreed upon by the Provincial Steering Committee; in which, focusing on promoting prevention work in the field of anti-corruption and negativity to avoid risks leading to related conditions and incidents.

The Provincial Steering Committee requests the Provincial People's Committee, all levels and sectors to continue to strictly implement the Party's regulations and the State's laws, especially the Government's direction in enhancing the responsibility of functional agencies, cadres and civil servants, especially in leading and directing the implementation of legal regulations, assigned duties and tasks; absolutely not allowing the situation of shirking responsibility, avoiding responsibility as well as taking advantage of mechanisms and policies to harass and cause difficulties for businesses and people. Functional agencies promote, strictly and fully comply with legal regulations in the process of handling administrative procedures for people and businesses. The Provincial Steering Committee also received opinions from members, supplemented the work program, and completed documents to effectively implement the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity in the coming time.
