The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism launched the patriotic emulation movement for the period 2025 - 2030 to all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers with the motto of action: "Innovation - Creativity - Breakthrough - Determination to compete to build a comprehensive and sustainable development of the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector".

In the exciting emulation atmosphere of the entire Party, the entire people and the entire army are enthusiastically promoting the campaign "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle"; welcoming the success of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on emulation and rewards; :Effectively implementing Directive No. 41-CT/TW dated December 26, 2024 of the Politburo on strengthening the Party's leadership in emulation and reward work in the new situation, Directive No. 39/CT-TTg dated October 15, 2024 of the Prime Minister on promoting the patriotic emulation movement to welcome Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party, the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism launched the patriotic emulation movement for the period 2025 - 2030 to all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers with the motto of action: "Innovation - Creativity - Breakthrough - Determination to compete to build a comprehensive and sustainable development of the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector".

The patriotic emulation movement for the period 2025 - 2030 was launched to create a vibrant competitive atmosphere among all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers, striving to excellently and comprehensively complete the goals and tasks of developing culture, information, sports and tourism for the period 2025 - 2030; Raising awareness and responsibility of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in performing assigned political tasks; creating a breakthrough in innovation of thinking, promoting digital transformation, developing science and technology ; encouraging innovation, and at the same time innovating leadership, management methods and operating models.

At the same time, discover, foster, build and replicate advanced models, good people, good deeds, good and creative practices, contributing to building the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector to be increasingly professional, modern, integrated and sustainably developed; promptly commend, honor and reward collectives and individuals who actively participate and achieve outstanding and exemplary achievements in emulation movements.

The patriotic emulation movement for the period 2025 - 2030 will take place from October 1, 2025 to December 31, 2030. Competition subjects: all cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector.

At the 4th Patriotic Emulation Congress of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2025, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy said that the patriotic emulation movement for the period 2025 - 2030 will focus on implementing key contents including:

Firstly, continue to promote the implementation of the campaign "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle"; the State's policies and laws on emulation and rewards, especially Directive No. 41-CT/TW dated December 26, 2024 of the Politburo on strengthening the Party's leadership in emulation and rewards in the new situation; actively implement movements launched by the Prime Minister, especially the movement "The whole country competes in innovation and digital transformation".

Second, focus on promoting the completion and improvement of the quality of the institutional system, mechanisms and policies in the fields of culture, information, sports and tourism; ensuring synchronization, unity, publicity, transparency, timeliness, and suitability with the country's development practices. Continue to review, amend, supplement and issue new legal documents to remove difficulties and obstacles, create a clear and transparent legal corridor, contributing to promoting sustainable development in the fields of the Industry. Build a team of cultural, information, sports and tourism officials to meet the country's development requirements in the new context.

Third, resolutely implement the Politburo's Resolution on developing Vietnamese culture in the new era and the National Target Program on cultural development for the 2025-2035 period; projects and plans to develop areas under the Ministry's state management.

Fourth, persistently build a healthy cultural environment, taking the grassroots and people as the center. Focus on effectively implementing the task of promulgating the national value system, cultural value system, family value system and Vietnamese human standards; prioritize building culture in each family, community, agency, unit, and enterprise, creating a solid foundation to form Vietnamese people in the new era, imbued with the spirit of "confidence, autonomy, self-reliance, self-strengthening, national pride", contributing to creating a new look for grassroots cultural life; resolutely fight and repel negativity and social evils.

Fifth, improve the quality of cultural and artistic activities to meet the people's increasing demand for cultural enjoyment; pay attention to, encourage and motivate artists, especially the young, to actively create and innovate through performing arts activities. Synchronously deploy solutions to encourage the creation and dissemination of valuable literary and artistic works, thereby enhancing the ideological content and role of culture and art in nurturing the soul, forming and developing the personality of Vietnamese people.

Sixth, proactively and actively cooperate and promote the image of the country, cultural values ​​and Vietnamese people to the world, encourage and promote the development of cultural industries, considering this as one of the important breakthroughs in the development strategy of the Industry. At the same time, promote the application of digital technology in production, business, management, promotion and dissemination of cultural products and services; thereby improving the efficiency, competitiveness and international integration of cultural industries.

Seventh, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management of the press; strongly promote the digital transformation of the press, build a professional, humane, modern press, meeting the requirements of national development in the new era. Improve management efficiency in information orientation work; promulgate and organize the implementation of the Communication Strategy to promote Vietnam's image to the world, contributing to affirming the position, prestige and national brand in the international arena; increase the number of electronic publications; promote links, form links between publishers and distribution units, and have the capacity to lead the market.

Eighth, strongly innovate the launching form and content of movements and campaigns on physical education and sports, creating a widespread influence, becoming a regular and widespread social movement that contributes to improving people's health, stature and physical strength. Promote investment, improve the quality of high-performance sports, determined to conquer new heights at regional and international tournaments. Strengthen socialization, strongly attract investment resources for physical education and sports development; promote the effectiveness of state management, expand international cooperation, focus on training key athletes, create a breakthrough to improve Vietnam's sports achievements in the new period.

Ninth, continue to build and develop Vietnam's tourism industry into a spearhead economic sector, contributing over 10% of the country's GDP, contributing to the country's socio-economic development. Strengthen tourism promotion, attract international and domestic tourists, promote Vietnam's tourism development through cinema, at the same time develop tourism associated with environmental protection, develop sustainable tourism, form a smart tourism ecosystem associated with comprehensive digital transformation. Strive for tourism development indicators to be higher next year than the previous year.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requires that the patriotic emulation movement for the 2025 - 2030 period must thoroughly grasp President Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on patriotic emulation, the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's policies and laws on emulation and rewards so that emulation movements truly become a self-awareness and regular responsibility of each collective and individual, thereby contributing to the successful implementation of the innovation process.
