Di An Ward, HCMC: Taking care of people with meritorious services, cleaning up the environment

Towards the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on the morning of July 20, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Di An ward coordinated with units to launch mass mobilization work, take care of people with meritorious services, policy families, and clean up the environment.

Participating forces include: soldiers of Brigade 71, Corps 34; Battalion 36, Brigade 94 of the Ministry of National Defense ; police and military forces, the executive boards of 19 neighborhoods and a large number of people.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, more than 800 people divided into many teams and moved to key routes and densely populated areas to sweep and collect trash on sidewalks and public areas, clear weeds, remove illegal advertising stickers on walls and electric poles, and propagate to people to maintain public hygiene and not litter...

On this occasion, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Di An Ward also planned to visit and give gifts to policy families and meritorious people in the area with the prescribed budget, estimated at 1 million VND/person. At the same time, the ward mobilized social resources to donate an additional 13 tons of rice, contributing to the tradition of remembering the source of drinking water.

According to Secretary of the Di An Ward Party Committee Vo Van Hong, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the Ward Party Committee chaired the launching of mass mobilization work, taking care of people with meritorious services, policy families, along with implementing environmental sanitation work, aiming to build a civilized, modern, and affectionate ward; each neighborhood and street must be bright, green, clean, and beautiful.

Military forces stationed in the area participate in cleaning the environment around the 550 overpass area.
