PVFCCo cooperates in digital transformation with FPT

FPT Corporation will advise on digital transformation solutions for PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) for the period 2023-2025, with a vision to 2030.

Digital transformation is one of the strategic development orientations of PVFCCo. At the launching ceremony of the cooperation project, Mr. Hoang Trong Dung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PVFCCo emphasized that as a member of the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group, the enterprise will focus on implementing digital transformation according to the general orientation set by the group, in line with the development strategy of the corporation in the new period.

The project "Building a roadmap and plan to implement digital transformation for PVFCCo in the period of 2023-2025, with a vision to 2030" will be implemented by FPT Digital, a member company of FPT Group, specializing in providing digital transformation roadmap consulting services for businesses, accompanying the company in two phases.

Initially, FPT Digital will survey the current situation; build a digital operation model (DOM - Digital Operation Management); develop a roadmap and implementation plan for digital transformation. In the next phase, FPT Digital will monitor and evaluate the level of digital transformation implementation at PVFCCo, ensuring that the digital transformation process always follows the roadmap and achieves the established goals.

Mr. Hoang Trong Dung suggested that the Project Implementation Board of both sides should assess the current situation closely and calculate to build an optimal roadmap in the context of limited resources. The output must be feasible and bring practical efficiency to the operations of the corporation as well as each employee, while increasing the customer experience across all regions of the country.

Mr. Le Hung Cuong, Deputy General Director of FPT Digital and Project Director, presented the objectives and important milestones during the project implementation period; information related to the overall progress and the project coordination organization chart. Mr. Cuong emphasized the factors that affect the success of the project such as data information quality, level of coordination of activities, flexibility and timely adjustment of plans.

The director believes that the experience of both sides will be the key to the success of the digital transformation program at PVFCCo.
