Quang Tri chooses October 10 every year as Digital Transformation Day

Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 1719/QD-UBND to designate October 10 every year as Quang Tri Province's Digital Transformation Day, in response to National Digital Transformation Day and promote the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.

At the same time, the Provincial People's Committee issued Plan No. 1212/KH-UBND on organizing National Digital Transformation Day and Quang Tri Province Digital Transformation Day in 2025 with many practical activities, spreading the spirit of innovation and creativity.

The propaganda activities took place from October 1-10, 2025, with the message "Digital transformation: faster, more efficient, closer to the people", through forms of communication, conferences, seminars and thematic forums.

The highlight of the series of events is the "Online Public Service" Week, focusing on guiding people to submit documents, pay online, digitize administrative procedures and sign results at the Public Administration Service Centers at all levels, with the goal of achieving 100% of documents and results being processed online and digitized within the day.

Along with that, the Community Digital Technology Teams and Project 06 simultaneously launched the campaign "Going to every alley, knocking on every door, guiding every citizen with digital skills", including 7 practical contents such as: using online public services, cashless payments, Quang Tri-S digital citizen platform, e-commerce, online safety protection, effective information searching and VNeID installation.

The Department of Science and Technology is assigned to preside over, coordinate the organization of activities and report the results to the Provincial People's Committee and the Ministry of Science and Technology .

Organizing the annual Digital Transformation Day contributes to raising awareness and digital skills for people and businesses, while affirming Quang Tri's determination in building digital government, digital economy and digital society, towards sustainable development in the digital age.
