On the morning of August 10, Mr. Le Quang Dien, Head of the Security Team of Thuan Dau village, My Thuy commune, Quang Tri province, discovered a boat drifting in the My Thuy port area.

Through inspection, authorities and people determined that it was a fishing boat of fisherman MVL (born in 1977, residing in Dong Tan village, My Thuy commune), who went fishing at 2:00 a.m. on August 10.

Currently, local authorities are towing the vehicle to shore and deploying measures to search for the missing MVL fishermen.

On the morning of August 10, the Lao Bao International Border Gate Border Guard Station said that at 3:40 p.m. on August 9, the unit received a report of a drowning person in the Sepon River area in Duy Tan hamlet, Lao Bao commune, Quang Tri province.

The victim was initially identified as Mr. VTKh. (born in 2004, in village 2, Lia commune, Quang Tri province).

Lao Bao International Border Guard Station mobilized 15 officers, soldiers and vehicles to coordinate with the Fire Police and Rescue Force of Quang Tri province to search for the victim's body.

The victim has not yet been found, so the forces have mobilized more forces, people's boats and used many measures to search.
