Quang Tri: Fisherman's body found after 2 days missing

After 2 days of searching, authorities and local people found the body of fisherman MVL (born in 1977, residing in Dong Tan village, My Thuy commune, Quang Tri province).

At noon on August 12, Hai An Border Guard Station (Border Guard of Quang Tri province) said that the search and rescue team discovered the body of fisherman MVL (born in 1977, residing in Dong Tan village, My Thuy commune). This is the victim who went missing while fishing at sea on the morning of August 10.

The victim's body was found on the morning of August 12 in an area about 9km from shore, not far from the location where the fishing boat that MVL fishermen used to go out to sea at 2am on August 10 was discovered.

Immediately after discovery, authorities brought the victim's body ashore and completed the necessary procedures to hand it over to the family for funeral arrangements.
