The Vietnamese goods fair in Minh Long commune in 2025 attracted a large number of local people to visit and shop. Nearly 30 enterprises, cooperatives and business households in the province brought to the fair more than 250 diverse products, from food, essential consumer goods to regional specialties and standard OCOP products. Abundant goods, good quality, reasonable prices have met the practical shopping needs of people in the mountainous areas.
“This is a very practical and meaningful activity in response to the campaign “Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods” and on this occasion, people can also access products of businesses, local products, OCOP products to meet the consumption needs of people and also create conditions for businesses to promote and introduce products to the locality”.
The Vietnamese goods market in rural and mountainous areas not only brings people a rich, practical and quality source of goods, but also opens a connection channel for businesses to promote their brands and introduce their products. Thereby, contributing to spreading the habit of consuming Vietnamese goods and creating motivation for OCOP products and local specialties to reach further.
“Through markets like this, it helps consumers and people understand more about An Tra brown rice products. Not only in the Northwest or the West, brown rice is available, but in my hometown Quang Ngai, there are also 4-star OCOP brown rice products.”
Along with building consumer trust, Vietnamese goods markets also open up opportunities for local businesses to access new markets and affirm their brands.
“Through the Vietnamese goods fair in Minh Long, our business also hopes to bring quality products to the market and connect and promote to consumers at Minh Long. Thereby, expanding the market and helping people have more choices of OCOP products in the province.”
In September 2025, the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion of Quang Ngai province organized 3 Vietnamese goods markets in Ly Son special zone, Tra Bong commune and Minh Long. This is an activity to concretize the Provincial People's Committee's Plan on implementing the Project on developing the domestic market associated with the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" for the period 2021 - 2025. The markets aim to bring high-quality Vietnamese goods closer to people in mountainous and island areas, helping people access quality products, reasonable prices and clear origins. At the same time, it creates opportunities for businesses to better understand local consumer needs, thereby shaping a sustainable development strategy associated with community interests.
“Products in the province have also been improved and increasingly meet the requirements of product quality, food hygiene and safety and other standards to be circulated in the provincial market in particular and the domestic market in general. Thereby, connecting businesses, promoting their products to people in remote and isolated areas.”
Vietnamese goods markets in rural and mountainous areas not only bring people the opportunity to access practical, quality products, but also affirm the value and competitiveness of Vietnamese goods. From these markets, trust in Vietnamese goods is spread to become a driving force for economic development, connecting the community and expanding the journey to bring homeland products to the world.
