On the morning of May 29, the Provincial Red Cross Society, Thai Binh Radio and Television Station, Department of Education and Training, Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs coordinated with the Red Cross Society of Quynh Phu district to organize the groundbreaking ceremony to build a charity house for Tran Vu Huy, a 7B student at An Le Secondary School (Quynh Phu). This is one of the activities in the humanitarian month of 2023.

Representatives of the "Support to School" fund awarded funds to support Huy's family to build a new house.

Huy's family is one of the poor households in the commune. The family's circumstances are very difficult. His father had a work accident and cannot do heavy work. His mother does not have a stable job. The family also has an elderly grandmother and two young children. All six people live in a seriously degraded level 4 house, lacking household appliances. Despite the difficult circumstances, Huy has achieved high academic results for many years.

To encourage her efforts, in 2023, implementing the "Support to School" fund's program of activities, through a field survey, the fund agreed to support her family's finances to build a new house, creating conditions for her to have a stable life and peace of mind to study.

The units organized the groundbreaking ceremony to build a charity house for Tran Vu Huy's family.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, the "Support to School" fund supported the family with 100 million VND, the amount was handed over in 2 installments, from the groundbreaking until the house was completed.

Leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Society presented funds to support charity meals for patients treated at Phu Duc General Hospital (Quynh Phu).

* On the morning of May 29, the Quynh Phu District Red Cross also coordinated with other units to organize the opening of the humanitarian kitchen program at Phu Duc General Hospital (Quynh Phu).

At the opening ceremony, the Provincial Red Cross Society, the Quynh Phu District Red Cross Society, Agribank Quynh Phu District Branch and a number of units, organizations and individuals presented gifts and supported nutritional porridge to patients in difficult circumstances being treated at the Hospital with a total amount of over 160 million VND, thereby contributing to helping patients reduce difficulties during the treatment process.
